AI Advisor Lab Decision Intelligence Features
Generative AI and AI agents both have a job. Neither produces decisions you can defend — that's the gap AI Advisor Lab closes. The Decision Intelligence as a Service (DIaaS) platform transforms unstructured AI output into organized, attributed, multi-perspective expert-team intelligence through the deliberate orchestration of domain-specialized AI advisors.
Two products, one decision-intelligence platform
AI Advisor Lab is delivered as two complementary products. AI Advisor Team Creation builds the advisory team; AI Advisor Team Operation puts that team to work on your decisions. This report covers both — Team Creation first, then everything Team Operation delivers.
AI Advisor Team Creation
Stand up a fully-configured team of 16 specialist AI advisors from a natural-language description, with no technical skill required and ready in about 30 minutes — or deploy one of 260+ ready-made, NAICS-classified teams. This is how the team comes to exist.
AI Advisor Team Operation
Put the team to work: bring a real decision, the advisors deliberate, and you get back an attributed, decision-grade deliverable. The platform stats, the category comparison, and the new capabilities below all live here — this is what the team does for you.
Key Takeaways
What this is: a snapshot of AI Advisor Lab — the Decision-Intelligence platform where up to 16 domain-specialist AI advisors deliberate, disagree on the record, and return attributed, evidence-grounded recommendations. What's on the platform: the core capabilities the platform was built on, plus a wave of newer upgrades — grouped into the areas below, all live in the product and checked against the running platform, not just documented.
In this report → the platform at a glance · comparing AI Advisor with generative AI & agents (side-by-side) · the four defining properties · the core platform capabilities · the new features in detail · the Enterprise Tier · Enterprise Security & Trust (re-verified against the live platform).
AI Advisor Team Creation
Every capability in this report starts with a team. AI Advisor Lab lets anyone stand up a fully-configured team of 16 specialist AI advisors from a natural-language description, with no technical skill required and ready in about 30 minutes — or deploy one of 260+ ready-made teams already in the live catalog.
First — why a team of AI Advisors, not an agent?
AI agents are execution-focused. You design a workflow and the agent runs it — deterministic automation that asks “how do I automate this workflow?” Ideal for repeatable, well-defined tasks. AI Advisors are judgment-focused. They amplify human strategic thinking with multi-expert perspectives, transparent reasoning, and collaborative synthesis — asking “how do I help humans think better?” — for the uncertain, high-stakes decisions where trade-offs and accountability matter. The human stays in control and makes the final call.
An AI Advisor Team goes a step beyond a single advisor: 16 specialists analyze the same question in parallel, build on each other's reasoning, and surface disagreement on the record — so you get one integrated, defensible recommendation instead of a single model's lone opinion. Source: AI Advisor Lab, “AI Advisors ≠ AI Agents” (2026); consistent with the broader industry distinction that agents and automation execute predictable, rule-bound tasks while advisory intelligence supports human judgment on ambiguous, high-stakes decisions.
How a team comes together — the full creation capability
- Dynamically generated — a complete, bespoke team assembled from your description rather than selected from a fixed template.
- Ready in about 30 minutes — a comprehensive team stood up in minutes, not the weeks a consulting bench or a custom agent build would take.
- Real-time assembly — follow the team's progress with live status as it is built.
- Specialized expertise & professional background — each advisor's domain, experience, and where they have operated.
- Distinct capabilities per advisor — no two advisors on a team are interchangeable.
- Signature deliverables — the specific work products each advisor is built to produce.
- Regulatory & compliance depth — the frameworks and governance each advisor carries into the analysis.
- Strategy, risk & collaboration style — problem-solving methodology, risk & governance posture, and how each works with the team.
- NAICS industry classification on every team, with native industry detection.
- Compliance frameworks aligned to role & industry — carried by the advisors who need them, activated automatically.
- Purpose-built, not generic — a healthcare team, a private-equity team, and a manufacturing team differ genuinely in composition and frameworks.
- Built-in collaboration relationships — the reinforcing connections among advisors are established when the team is created.
- Fully orchestrated deliberation — advisors reason together, disagree on the record, and resolve tensions in the open.
- One defensible recommendation — a single integrated, attributed position rather than sixteen separate opinions.
- 260+ ready-made teams in the live catalog, spanning industries and use cases.
- Preview before you commit — browse each team's advisors and the work it produces before you use it.
- AI Team Finder — describe your problem in plain language and get the best-matching teams, ranked by fit.
AI Advisor Team Operation
Creating a team is step one. AI Advisor Team Operation is where that team goes to work — the production platform (teamops.aiadvisorlab.ai) where you bring a real decision, the advisors deliberate on it, and you get back an attributed, decision-grade deliverable. Everything that follows — the platform stats, the head-to-head category comparison, the four defining properties, the new features, and the enterprise security posture — is Team Operation.
Bring the Strategic Request
Pose a strategic question in plain language and attach your own materials — spreadsheets, documents, even diagrams. Choose how deep to go: 4, 8, 12, or 16 advisors.
The team reasons together
Up to 16 advisors analyze the question in parallel, build on each other, challenge weak points, and surface disagreement on the record — enriched with live research and external data matched to the team.
Every claim labeled
Each conclusion is traced to the advisor, framework, and evidence behind it and tagged for reliability — with verification, disconfirmation, and sycophancy checks before you ever see it.
Decision-grade output
A consulting-grade, fully-attributed deliverable — exportable to Word, PDF, PowerPoint, Excel, HTML, or Markdown, with sources attached — that you can take to the table and defend.
The platform at a glance
A distinct approach within the decision-intelligence category — not a feature of any existing AI product.
Decision quality: where the categories diverge
Generative AI answers. Agents execute. AI Advisor Lab produces defensible decisions — attributed, deliberated, and evidence-grounded.
| Dimension | AI Advisor Lab Decision Intelligence |
Generative AI ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini |
Agents & Agentic AI Task bots, workflows |
|---|---|---|---|

What makes it different
The four defining properties of the Decision Intelligence as a Service platform.
Multi-Perspective Structure
Every question is analyzed simultaneously by a team of domain-specialized AI advisors — each through a distinct expertise lens. Not blended. Not averaged. A structured chorus of genuinely different expert voices.
Structured Deliberation
Advisors challenge one another's conclusions. Tensions are surfaced and preserved. Minority viewpoints are documented and attributed. The deliberation itself is an output — analytically valuable, not noise to be filtered.
Full Attribution
Every recommendation traces to the specific advisor, analytical framework, and confidence basis that produced it — with 99%+ attribution precision on our internal benchmark. A Critical Assumptions Registry captures every assumption with explicit confidence ratings, alongside inline VERIFIED tagging on sourced claims. Intelligence is not a black box — it is a transparent, auditable, evidence-grounded position.
Emergent Team Intelligence
The output is designed to exceed the sum of individual advisors' contributions: insight emerges from structured interaction and cross-model challenge — a dynamic that single-context self-critique, however capable the model, does not reproduce.
Core Platform Capabilities
These are the capabilities the platform was built on. AI Advisor Lab's design, architecture, and build began in January 2026, and the features below are the foundation laid through April — the deliberation engine itself, consulting-grade reporting, multi-format export, the team marketplace, and the secure cloud platform it all runs on. Each was traced to the commit that first introduced it and confirmed present in the code running the production service today. They underpin — and do not repeat — the newer capabilities in New Features Available below.

Enterprise Security & Trust
A production-grade, defense-in-depth, logically-isolated multi-tenant posture.
How your data is handled — ingest · store · process · delete
Tenant-scoped only
Data enters only through authenticated endpoints; the tenant identifier is derived solely from a verified Cognito JWT — no client-supplied tenant value is ever trusted. External API data is SSRF-guarded and wrapped as "unverified."
Customer-managed encryption
At rest under a customer-managed AWS KMS key (annual rotation) across S3 and DynamoDB; the projects bucket denies non-KMS and non-TLS access. BYOK keys live in per-tenant Secrets Manager, masked on read.
No training on your data
AI providers process requests transiently; the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) commits your data is never used to train models and no automated decision-making occurs. PHI/PCI/PII classification gating runs before any model dispatch.
GDPR erasure at the data plane
Deleting a project cascades a full sweep of conversations, knowledge, tabular data, and document vectors; deleting a file erases its search index. Account erasure redacts identity and purges secrets.
Controls a security team can rely on
| Control | What it guarantees |
|---|---|
| Unspoofable tenant identity | Tenant ID comes only from an RS256/JWKS-verified JWT with no anonymous fallback — there is no client-supplied tenant parameter to attack. |
| Runtime cross-tenant canary | Any database read returning a row belonging to another tenant is refused and logged CRITICAL — a live tripwire, not just a design assumption. |
| Customer-managed KMS at rest | Annual key rotation with a 30-day deletion window; storage buckets deny non-KMS uploads and non-TLS transport. |
| Tamper-evident audit log | Every enterprise action is written to a SHA-256 hash-chained, fail-closed audit log with alarms on any integrity break or contention. |
| Auth paths fail closed | On any outage, authentication and key-lookup paths reject rather than silently degrade — no collapse to anonymous or to a shared platform key. |
| Re-derived authorization + MFA | Roles and seats are re-read from the database on every privileged request (the token is only a hint); MFA is enforced on the production identity pool. |
| Hardened sessions | httpOnly + Secure cookies (never browser localStorage), path-scoped refresh, strict CSP + HSTS, and a TLS 1.2/1.3-only load balancer. |
| Network & supply-chain isolation | Production compute in private subnets, security-group lockdown, VPC endpoints, WAF rate-limiting in block mode, GuardDuty threat detection, and image scan-on-push. |
| Secure SSO / SCIM / external ingestion | SCIM tokens stored only as SHA-256 hashes with constant-time comparison; SAML parsed with XXE-hardened libraries; external fetches SSRF-guarded. |
| Durability & auditor traceability | Point-in-time recovery on all persistent tables, S3 versioning, 20+ delete-protected resources, and a 7-year audit-log lifecycle. |
Secrets management & encryption
- No plaintext API keys in infrastructure — all injected as Secrets Manager references (verified live).
- Per-tenant BYOK secrets on dedicated paths, masked on read, never returned to clients.
- At rest: S3 artifacts/audit/projects and DynamoDB encrypted with the customer-managed key.
- In transit: HTTPS with a TLS 1.3/1.2-only policy, HTTP→HTTPS redirect, and HSTS preload.
Threat detection, network & resilience
- GuardDuty account threat detection enabled.
- Web Application Firewall associated to the load balancer with rate-limiting in block mode.
- Load-balancer deletion protection on; deployment circuit breaker with automatic rollback.
- Production compute in private subnets; storage reached via private VPC endpoints; encrypted Redis.
The defining questionNot "How do we automate this?" — but "What should we decide, and what are we missing?"
