AI Advisor Lab Decision Intelligence Features

AI Agents Execute, AI Advisors Advise

Generative AI and AI agents both have a job. Neither produces decisions you can defend — that's the gap AI Advisor Lab closes. The Decision Intelligence as a Service (DIaaS) platform transforms unstructured AI output into organized, attributed, multi-perspective expert-team intelligence through the deliberate orchestration of domain-specialized AI advisors.

Not "How do we automate this?" — but "What should we decide, and what are we missing?"

Two products, one decision-intelligence platform

AI Advisor Lab is delivered as two complementary products. AI Advisor Team Creation builds the advisory team; AI Advisor Team Operation puts that team to work on your decisions. This report covers both — Team Creation first, then everything Team Operation delivers.

Product 01

Stand up a fully-configured team of 16 specialist AI advisors from a natural-language description, with no technical skill required and ready in about 30 minutes — or deploy one of 260+ ready-made, NAICS-classified teams. This is how the team comes to exist.

Product 02

AI Advisor Team Operation

Put the team to work: bring a real decision, the advisors deliberate, and you get back an attributed, decision-grade deliverable. The platform stats, the category comparison, and the new capabilities below all live here — this is what the team does for you.

AI Advisor Team Creation

Every capability in this report starts with a team. AI Advisor Lab lets anyone stand up a fully-configured team of 16 specialist AI advisors from a natural-language description, with no technical skill required and ready in about 30 minutes — or deploy one of 260+ ready-made teams already in the live catalog.

First — why a team of AI Advisors, not an agent?

AI agents are execution-focused. You design a workflow and the agent runs it — deterministic automation that asks “how do I automate this workflow?” Ideal for repeatable, well-defined tasks. AI Advisors are judgment-focused. They amplify human strategic thinking with multi-expert perspectives, transparent reasoning, and collaborative synthesis — asking “how do I help humans think better?” — for the uncertain, high-stakes decisions where trade-offs and accountability matter. The human stays in control and makes the final call.

An AI Advisor Team goes a step beyond a single advisor: 16 specialists analyze the same question in parallel, build on each other's reasoning, and surface disagreement on the record — so you get one integrated, defensible recommendation instead of a single model's lone opinion. Source: AI Advisor Lab, “AI Advisors ≠ AI Agents” (2026); consistent with the broader industry distinction that agents and automation execute predictable, rule-bound tasks while advisory intelligence supports human judgment on ambiguous, high-stakes decisions.

How a team comes together — the full creation capability

Built from a natural-language description · no technical skill
Describe the advisory team you want in your own words and receive a fully-configured 16-advisor team in return — no technical configuration required. Built for business leaders, not only technologists.
  • Dynamically generated — a complete, bespoke team assembled from your description rather than selected from a fixed template.
  • Ready in about 30 minutes — a comprehensive team stood up in minutes, not the weeks a consulting bench or a custom agent build would take.
  • Real-time assembly — follow the team's progress with live status as it is built.
16 specialist advisors · deeply profiled
Every team is exactly 16 distinct expert personas — separate, parallel model invocations routable across model families, each a genuinely independent perspective rather than a single model in different roles.
  • Specialized expertise & professional background — each advisor's domain, experience, and where they have operated.
  • Distinct capabilities per advisor — no two advisors on a team are interchangeable.
Signature deliverables & compliance depth · per advisor
Each advisor is built to produce specific work and carry the governance its role demands — so the team is ready to do real work on day one.
  • Signature deliverables — the specific work products each advisor is built to produce.
  • Regulatory & compliance depth — the frameworks and governance each advisor carries into the analysis.
  • Strategy, risk & collaboration style — problem-solving methodology, risk & governance posture, and how each works with the team.
Industry-aware by construction · NAICS-classified
Teams are classified to their industry from the start, so the right sector context and compliance frameworks are native — not bolted on by prompt.
  • NAICS industry classification on every team, with native industry detection.
  • Compliance frameworks aligned to role & industry — carried by the advisors who need them, activated automatically.
  • Purpose-built, not generic — a healthcare team, a private-equity team, and a manufacturing team differ genuinely in composition and frameworks.
Collaborative & orchestrated from inception · one integrated answer
A team is not 16 advisors in silos. The platform knows which advisors reinforce each other on a given question and weights their combined judgment into a single recommendation.
  • Built-in collaboration relationships — the reinforcing connections among advisors are established when the team is created.
  • Fully orchestrated deliberation — advisors reason together, disagree on the record, and resolve tensions in the open.
  • One defensible recommendation — a single integrated, attributed position rather than sixteen separate opinions.
Ready-made or bespoke · 260+ teams
Build a new team from scratch, or start from a large catalog of ready-made teams already classified and configured.
  • 260+ ready-made teams in the live catalog, spanning industries and use cases.
  • Preview before you commit — browse each team's advisors and the work it produces before you use it.
  • AI Team Finder — describe your problem in plain language and get the best-matching teams, ranked by fit.

AI Advisor Team Operation

Creating a team is step one. AI Advisor Team Operation is where that team goes to work — the production platform (teamops.aiadvisorlab.ai) where you bring a real decision, the advisors deliberate on it, and you get back an attributed, decision-grade deliverable. Everything that follows — the platform stats, the head-to-head category comparison, the four defining properties, the new features, and the enterprise security posture — is Team Operation.

Ask

Bring the Strategic Request

Pose a strategic question in plain language and attach your own materials — spreadsheets, documents, even diagrams. Choose how deep to go: 4, 8, 12, or 16 advisors.

Deliberate

The team reasons together

Up to 16 advisors analyze the question in parallel, build on each other, challenge weak points, and surface disagreement on the record — enriched with live research and external data matched to the team.

Attribute

Every claim labeled

Each conclusion is traced to the advisor, framework, and evidence behind it and tagged for reliability — with verification, disconfirmation, and sycophancy checks before you ever see it.

Deliver

Decision-grade output

A consulting-grade, fully-attributed deliverable — exportable to Word, PDF, PowerPoint, Excel, HTML, or Markdown, with sources attached — that you can take to the table and defend.

What makes it different

The four defining properties of the Decision Intelligence as a Service platform.

Property 01

Multi-Perspective Structure

Every question is analyzed simultaneously by a team of domain-specialized AI advisors — each through a distinct expertise lens. Not blended. Not averaged. A structured chorus of genuinely different expert voices.

Property 02

Structured Deliberation

Advisors challenge one another's conclusions. Tensions are surfaced and preserved. Minority viewpoints are documented and attributed. The deliberation itself is an output — analytically valuable, not noise to be filtered.

Property 03 MOST CONCRETE

Full Attribution

Every recommendation traces to the specific advisor, analytical framework, and confidence basis that produced it — with 99%+ attribution precision on our internal benchmark. A Critical Assumptions Registry captures every assumption with explicit confidence ratings, alongside inline VERIFIED tagging on sourced claims. Intelligence is not a black box — it is a transparent, auditable, evidence-grounded position.

Property 04

Emergent Team Intelligence

The output is designed to exceed the sum of individual advisors' contributions: insight emerges from structured interaction and cross-model challenge — a dynamic that single-context self-critique, however capable the model, does not reproduce.

Core Platform Capabilities

These are the capabilities the platform was built on. AI Advisor Lab's design, architecture, and build began in January 2026, and the features below are the foundation laid through April — the deliberation engine itself, consulting-grade reporting, multi-format export, the team marketplace, and the secure cloud platform it all runs on. Each was traced to the commit that first introduced it and confirmed present in the code running the production service today. They underpin — and do not repeat — the newer capabilities in New Features Available below.

The Deliberation Engine · 8 capabilities
The core of the platform: a full team of specialist advisors analyzes your question in parallel, argues it out, and returns one synthesized answer — the capability everything else is built around.
  • The whole team analyzes at once — a full panel of specialist advisors works your question in parallel and their views are synthesized into a single answer rather than a lone chatbot reply. Jan
  • Choose how deep to go — pick a fast take or a deeper, more exhaustive analysis, and the engine scales its effort to match. Jan
  • The right advisors for the question — choosing a meeting type automatically selects which specialists on the team should weigh in. Jan
  • Understands what you're actually asking — an intent classifier reads your prompt and routes it to the right kind of response. Jan
  • See the discussion, not just the verdict — an optional view reveals each advisor's individual perspective and where they agree or differ. Jan
  • Built-in devil's advocate — a contrarian pass surfaces minority viewpoints and challenges the group's conclusion so blind spots get caught. Jan
  • Innovation Mode — run your question through structured innovation frameworks for more creative, breakthrough-oriented output. Jan–Mar
  • Grounded in live research & connected knowledge — advisors fold current web research and connected industry and compliance knowledge into their analysis. Jan
Consulting-Grade Reporting · 8 capabilities
Outputs shaped like top-tier consulting deliverables — answer-first, evidence-tagged, and attributed — rather than raw chat text.
  • McKinsey report style structuring — outputs are shaped with professional consulting reporting methods, not raw chat text. Jan
  • Pyramid-Principle organization — reports lead with the answer, then the supporting arguments, then the detail. Jan
  • Executive summary up top — every report opens with a crisp Situation–Complication–Resolution summary. Jan
  • Visual executive dashboard — key findings and actions render as a clean dashboard leaders can scan in a minute. Jan–Mar
  • Polished, professionally formatted documents — a multi-stage pipeline reformats the raw analysis into a well-structured final document. Jan
  • Confidence tags on the numbers — figures are labeled inline (VERIFIED vs. ESTIMATE) so you can see how solid each one is. Jan
  • Cited sources with clickable links — claims trace to the advisor and source behind them, with a Sources section of working links. Jan
  • Industry & compliance context — outputs include an industry-aware section and a regulatory/compliance section relevant to your topic. Jan
Deliverables & Multi-Format Export · 5 capabilities
Take the analysis out of the app in the format your audience expects — and get the exact work products you asked for.
  • Export to Word, PDF, PowerPoint, Excel, HTML or Markdown — download any analysis as a polished, branded document. Jan–Mar
  • Preview before you download — see a formatted preview in the browser, then export the format you want. Feb–Mar
  • Gets you the deliverables you asked for — the system detects the specific deliverables you requested and retries until each one appears. Feb
  • Turn pasted text into a formatted report — paste external research or notes and generate a polished report from it, no meeting required. Mar
  • Generate images from your chat — ask in plain language and the platform produces images as deliverables. Jan
Team Marketplace & Library · 7 capabilities
Find, preview, and manage advisory teams — browse a large ready-made catalog or commission a bespoke team for your problem.
  • Browse a catalog of ready-made teams — explore hundreds of expert teams shown as rich cards with their focus, advisors, and deliverables. Feb–Mar

  • One-click "Meet With Team" — jump straight into a meeting with a team; the workspace is created for you. Mar
  • Commission a custom team — request and purchase a bespoke advisory team when no catalog team fits. Mar
  • Get Started onboarding — a dedicated Get Started tab with a step-by-step guide before you dive in. Mar
The Meeting Experience · 6 capabilities
A meeting-based workspace — bring your own materials, get tailored starter questions, and pick up long conversations where you left off.
  • A meeting-based workspace — a premium conference-room interface with meeting-type cards. Jan
  • Smart starter prompts — the app suggests high-value questions tailored to the team you've loaded. Jan
  • Bring your own materials — upload your documents into a meeting (several at once) and the advisors work them into the analysis, even detecting when your docs supply a methodology. Mar–Apr
  • Nothing gets cut off — long answers arrive in readable phases and auto-continue to completion instead of truncating. Jan–Apr
  • Teams remember across sessions — an advisory team carries context and accumulated knowledge from one meeting to the next. Jan
  • Compact & save a long conversation — condense a long meeting into a saved summary so you can keep going later. Jan–Mar
Cloud Platform, Account & Support · 8 capabilities
The secure, browser-based service it all runs on — your account, your data, and your controls.

  • In-app Help & searchable User Manual — a Help center with a guided tutorial and a full, keyword-searchable user manual. Mar
Reliability & Continuity · 6 capabilities
Built to hold up under real use — meetings keep running through failures, disconnects, and restarts, and tell you when they're done.
  • Meetings run in the background — start a meeting, switch away or close the window, and it keeps processing. Mar
  • Survives a flaky AI call — retries and a circuit breaker keep a meeting going and still deliver partial results if one advisor's request fails. Feb–Mar
  • Survives a dropped connection — if your network blips mid-meeting, the session reconnects and your in-progress results aren't lost. Feb–Mar
  • Survives a server restart — long analyses are persisted, so an in-flight meeting keeps running even if the underlying cloud container is replaced. Mar
  • Stay logged in through a full work session — your session stays valid for hours and quietly renews before it expires, so you're not kicked out mid-task. Apr
  • Get pinged when your report is ready — opt in to an email and/or text the moment your analysis finishes. Mar–Apr

Enterprise Security & Trust

A production-grade, defense-in-depth, logically-isolated multi-tenant posture.

How your data is handled — ingest · store · process · delete

Ingest

Tenant-scoped only

Data enters only through authenticated endpoints; the tenant identifier is derived solely from a verified Cognito JWT — no client-supplied tenant value is ever trusted. External API data is SSRF-guarded and wrapped as "unverified."

Store

Customer-managed encryption

At rest under a customer-managed AWS KMS key (annual rotation) across S3 and DynamoDB; the projects bucket denies non-KMS and non-TLS access. BYOK keys live in per-tenant Secrets Manager, masked on read.

Process

No training on your data

AI providers process requests transiently; the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) commits your data is never used to train models and no automated decision-making occurs. PHI/PCI/PII classification gating runs before any model dispatch.

Delete

GDPR erasure at the data plane

Deleting a project cascades a full sweep of conversations, knowledge, tabular data, and document vectors; deleting a file erases its search index. Account erasure redacts identity and purges secrets.

Controls a security team can rely on

ControlWhat it guarantees
Unspoofable tenant identityTenant ID comes only from an RS256/JWKS-verified JWT with no anonymous fallback — there is no client-supplied tenant parameter to attack.
Runtime cross-tenant canaryAny database read returning a row belonging to another tenant is refused and logged CRITICAL — a live tripwire, not just a design assumption.
Customer-managed KMS at restAnnual key rotation with a 30-day deletion window; storage buckets deny non-KMS uploads and non-TLS transport.
Tamper-evident audit logEvery enterprise action is written to a SHA-256 hash-chained, fail-closed audit log with alarms on any integrity break or contention.
Auth paths fail closedOn any outage, authentication and key-lookup paths reject rather than silently degrade — no collapse to anonymous or to a shared platform key.
Re-derived authorization + MFARoles and seats are re-read from the database on every privileged request (the token is only a hint); MFA is enforced on the production identity pool.
Hardened sessionshttpOnly + Secure cookies (never browser localStorage), path-scoped refresh, strict CSP + HSTS, and a TLS 1.2/1.3-only load balancer.
Network & supply-chain isolationProduction compute in private subnets, security-group lockdown, VPC endpoints, WAF rate-limiting in block mode, GuardDuty threat detection, and image scan-on-push.
Secure SSO / SCIM / external ingestionSCIM tokens stored only as SHA-256 hashes with constant-time comparison; SAML parsed with XXE-hardened libraries; external fetches SSRF-guarded.
Durability & auditor traceabilityPoint-in-time recovery on all persistent tables, S3 versioning, 20+ delete-protected resources, and a 7-year audit-log lifecycle.

  • No plaintext API keys in infrastructure — all injected as Secrets Manager references (verified live).
  • Per-tenant BYOK secrets on dedicated paths, masked on read, never returned to clients.
  • At rest: S3 artifacts/audit/projects and DynamoDB encrypted with the customer-managed key.
  • In transit: HTTPS with a TLS 1.3/1.2-only policy, HTTP→HTTPS redirect, and HSTS preload.

Threat detection, network & resilience

  • GuardDuty account threat detection enabled.
  • Web Application Firewall associated to the load balancer with rate-limiting in block mode.
  • Load-balancer deletion protection on; deployment circuit breaker with automatic rollback.
  • Production compute in private subnets; storage reached via private VPC endpoints; encrypted Redis.
Active in production: threat detection (GuardDuty) enabled; web-application firewall associated to the load balancer; a customer-managed encryption key for data at rest; multi-factor authentication enforced on the production identity pool; TLS 1.3 on the load balancer; immutable 7-year audit storage (object-lock enabled); and KMS-encrypted analytics. The full set of platform capability controls is confirmed active on the running production service.

The defining questionNot "How do we automate this?" — but "What should we decide, and what are we missing?"
